Disability Outreach partners with organizations that are invested in creating healthy communities. We are committed to helping disabled individuals access the benefits they need, while helping maintain the fiscal health of Medicaid MCOs, governments, and community agencies.

State and Local Governments

Disability Outreach has partnered with state and local government agencies to provide advocacy services to their disabled populations. We help screen individuals who are unable to work, due to a disabling condition, for possible eligibility for disability benefits through Social Security. Through our agreement with the state we are able to help individuals who are eligible for SSI and are receiving certain types of public assistance benefits.

Individuals who are found disabled by the Social Security Administration will receive a monthly federal cash benefit. Receiving a monthly cash benefit will provide financial stability that will reduce the need for other emergency benefits from the state. Recipients of SSI and SSDI benefits will also have access to other state and federal benefits that are appropriate for the disabled (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).

Monthly benefits will also give the disabled who had previously been homeless or on the verge of homelessness the stability they need to focus more on their medical care instead of other stressors that they may experience. Giving the disabled a path to recovery and peace of mind is a service that Disability Outreach is proud to provide.
